The Argonaut: Santa Monica

The Westside Greens have endorsed incumbent Santa Monica City Councilmember and Green Party member Michael Feinstein for reelection to the Santa Monica City Council November 2nd.

�Whether it is planting more trees to make our neighborhoods beautiful, moving to renewable energy to clean our air, treating polluted water to keep our bay clean or opposing Playa Vista because of its negative effects on Santa Monica, Michael Feinstein has been at the forefront of environmental issues in Santa Monica,� said Linda Piera-Avila of the Westside Greens.

Other California Greens endorsing Feinstein include former Green statewide candidates Peter Camejo, Medea Benjamin and Sara Amir, as well as independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader.
